MR IBU AKA JOHN OKAFORLAID TO REST

 



Family, friends, and colleagues gathered to pay their last respects to the beloved comic actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, who passed away at the age of 62. The burial ceremony was held at Eziokwe Amuri in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State, where mourners came together to celebrate the life and legacy of the iconic entertainer.

John Okafor, known for his comedic genius, graced the screens in hundreds of Nollywood movies, both in Nigeria and abroad, including the renowned Mr. Ibu series that endeared him to fans around the world. His unique talent and infectious humor left an indelible mark on the entertainment industry and endeared him to audiences of all ages.



Tragically, Mr. Ibu succumbed to a strange and dangerous illness on 2nd March 2024, leaving a void in the hearts of his fans and the entertainment community. The news of his passing sent shockwaves through the industry, as colleagues and admirers mourned the loss of a true legend.

The burial ceremony was attended by numerous Nollywood celebrities, who gathered to bid farewell to their colleague and friend. Together, they paid tribute to Mr. Ibu's memory, reflecting on his contributions to the industry and the joy he brought to countless lives.
